The Boston double mantel with a television cabinet has been a Mantel Shoppe classic since it's inception in the late nineties. It was the cover of our brochure for several years. We had to take it off the cover because the company that makes the center appliques couldn't make them fast enough. That's a true story. Anyway, they have since upgraded their operation to accomodate ours so feel free to order as many Boston mantels as you would like. The Boston looks spectatular as a double or single mantel. If you would like the double Boston but do not wish to incorporate a television cabinet that is totally feasible. It is basically the same look without the doors. Many of our customers have mounted flat screens to the front of the upper mantel.The Boston is available only in paint grade materials becausethe pieces on the front of the legs and the center applique are plaster. |
