"We’re very excited about our new fireplace mantel. It is perfect! We had a great artist paint the mantel, he used two different colors and glaze that created a natural look and placed grout marks for a special effect to make it look like it was carved from stone.
"The installation of my mantel went very smoothly. I was able to use some existing bolts that were anchored in the wall from the previous mantel shelf. I bolted a 2x10 to the brick fireplace then slipped your mantel onto the 2x10 and used a nail gun to nail it in place. The whole process only took me about 2 hours. The red oak took stain very nicely and I sealed it with a couple coats of polyurethane. I should probably give it another coat or two when I have the chance. Your workmanship was outstanding and I managed not to screw it up during my installation.
Our renovation included a kitchen, lav, laundry room and family room (where the mantel is). During our project, we bought most of our appliances, fixtures, electronics, etc. on the internet and had many very positive experiences. Our experience with your shop was one of the most positive and your personal service stood out from all the rest. "Done! The colors are a lot more subtle than they appear in the images... I think it's the glow of the Christmas and Recessed Lights that are giving it a way more yellow look.
