I found this company through houzz. I was a bit skeptical that all would work out with them in Alabama and me in Washington. I began discussions with them 2 days before Christmas and confirmed that they were one of the few companies willing to make the mantel to my specifications, in the wood of my choice, and at a very reasonable price. In early January, I sent drawings and specs for the mantel I wanted. In a month's time, it had been not only made but shipped (free), packed very securely in a sturdy crate. Project completed in mid-February. Color me delighted!
