The Mantel Shoppe strives to ensure that you are satisfied with our products. Each order is inspected before shipment to make sure all items are in excellent condition before leaving our facility. Although our products are packaged safely and securely to prevent damage, it is possible in rare cases that damage may occur during shipment.
Prior to signing for any shipment, please inspect the carton and contents. If you notice an damage, note it on the bill of lading, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.
Note: Without a notation on the Freight Bill of Lading, we cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items. If you for some reason are unable to inspect the contents of the shipment at the time of delivery, make a notation on the lading that there may be some damage to the contents and that you were unable to inspect prior to signing. This grants you 24 hours to initiate a damage claim with us. If you must return an item (standard sized items only please), call or e-mail The Mantel Shoppe for a return authorization number and return the item in its original packaging to: The Mantel Shoppe, LLC 65 Angus St. Trussville, AL 35173.
If there is damage or flaw created by The Mantel Shoppe, we will ship a new mantel to you at no additional cost. The damage must be noted with an e-mail picture to firstname.lastname@example.org. At this time, we will review the picture and if the flaw was created by us we will send you a new mantel and ask that the flawed mantel is returned in its original crate or the new mantel crate. This also applies to sizing errors made by us, but due to our extensive process to ensure the size is correct, this is never an issue.
