The Mantel Shoppe has it all from start to finish. Excellent selection of beautiful mantels that will fit with any style home from contemporary to traditional. The ability to customize your mantel to the exact specifications at a reasonable price was very important. We had the mantel painted to the existing color scheme of our room. They even sent a small container of the paint to use for touch ups after installation. Delivery was perfect with no damage. My husband I were able to install it ourselves with a hammer, screwdriver and drill! Customer services was excellent. Emails and phone calls answered promptly. You will be very happy with your new mantel.
I found this company through houzz. I was a bit skeptical that all would work out with them in Alabama and me in Washington. I began discussions with them 2 days before Christmas and confirmed that they were one of the few companies willing to make the mantel to my specifications, in the wood of my choice, and at a very reasonable price. In early January, I sent drawings and specs for the mantel I wanted. In a month's time, it had been not only made but shipped (free), packed very securely in a sturdy crate. Project completed in mid-February. Color me delighted!

My mantel is in transit right now, but overall this has been the most personal, quickest, and at the same time most professional interaction I've had with any company in a long time. I could not be more happy. Extremely prompt with communication as well as the creation and shipment of my custom mantel. Before charging me anything they built the mantel and sent pictures for me to confirm everything looked as expected. They even e-mailed links to detailed videos describing the proper unpacking and installation of their hand made wood mantels. Amazing prices too.

Nick from the Mantel Shoppe was great to work with. We called him several times with questions before we ordered to discuss the process and timing. We sent him a sample that we wanted to match for staining and he delivered on time and looking fantastic! The packing around the mantel was the only difficult part to deal with, but it is necessary to protect the investment. I couldn't be more happier with my mantel. Excellent quality, great communication through the entire process and superb delivery, not even a scratch on it! TIME TO UPDATE OLD MANTLES. Mantle Shoppe is the place to go. Our old mantles, created by MS 20 years ago, were in great shape, but needed updating. We selected new styles we knew would look great. They even precut a hole, at my request, for electrical to be installed. The Mantel Shoppe is the only place to shop for your wood mantel.
