The Sharpsburg custom fireplace surround is a very different mantel style. We incorporated a half octagon leg look that is mirrored by a turn in the shelf. The Sharpsburg always stands out when customers are in our showroom because they have never seen an octagon-leg birch mantel before. We hadn't either until we designed the Newport custom-made mantel and the Sharpsburg birch mantel. The Sharpsburg also sports our classic dentil, base, and crown moulding weaving its way through the many twists and turns on the breast of the mantel. The appliques on the Sharpsburg are only available in poplar but we can add the Harrisburg appliques and work with several different types of wood.
